New Zealand's Wellington Zoo needed donations to complete construction of their new animal hospital, The Nest. To encourage people to donate, we reminded them that they weren't just helping the animals of today, they were helping these animals survive for future generations.

DIRECT  MAIL FUNDRAISER

Seeing that the Zoo’s new animal hospital would ensure the children of today, and tomorrow, could learn all about the animals, we decided there was no one better equipped to ask New Zealanders for donations, than the kids themselves. We developed engaging, information kits to distribute throughout New Zealand schools, which enabled the children to create personalized, hand-written letters to the Zoo's database of supporters. 

THE  RESULTS

This campaign received an unprecedented 27% response rate and donations averaging $85 each. Wellington Zoo reached their target.
